Modular Engineered Sound Microphone System
The new Engineered Sound range of install microphones have been updated for 2019 with a range of new features and combinations. The modular ES range comprises of 4 different microphone elements, 6 different length goosenecks, 4 power modules all of which are interchangeable.
The condenser microphone elements are available as cardioid, hypercardioid, omni and MicroLine (line + gradient). The modular gooseneck sections are available in 6”, 12”, 15”, 18”, 21”, 24” lengths and have a double gooseneck design. There are 4 power options which include the ES8544 in-line module, 2 flush mount power modules (ES8755R 3-pin and ES8755RC 5-pin for remote switching), and the ES8766RC desk stand. The ES8755R, ES8755RC flush mounts and ES8766RC desk stand have an RBG LED that offers 8 colour options for when the microphone is on and off. The ES8755RC with the additional 2-pins in the XLR base can be controlled remotely.
Choose between desk stand and flush mount standing options, both of which feature RGB LED colour indication making life super-easy and intuitive for the user. There is also an “In-Line” power base option, ideal for mounting your gooseneck to any standard XLR3 or XLR5 connector.
The ES925/x gooseneck sections (123 mm, 231 mm, 307 mm, 383 mm, 459 mm, 535 mm) works with any of the separately available power module types (XLR, FM3, FM5, DS5) and microphone elements (MicroLine (line + gradient), hypercardioid, cardioid, omnidirectional).
ES8544 in-line power module for ES925 modular gooseneck microphones
The ES8544 3-pin XLR power module works with ES925 goosenecks and microphone elements. The power module plugs into any standard XLRF-type connector or mounts to 5/8″-27 stands using the included quick-mount stand adapter.
ES8755R flushmount power module (3-pin) with RGB LED and switch for ES925 modular gooseneck microphones. Remote switching available with ES8755RC (5-pin)
The ES925/x gooseneck sections (123 mm, 231 mm, 307 mm, 383 mm, 459 mm, 535 mm) works with any of the separately available power module types (XLR, FM3, FM5, DS5) and microphone elements (MicroLine (line + gradient), hypercardioid, cardioid, omnidirectional).
Logic I/O capability permits control of remote devices from the ES8766RC desk stand’s touch-sensitive capacitive-type user switch
The ES8766RC desk stand power module works with ES925 goosenecks and microphone elements. The desk stand features a 5-pin TB5M-type output connector, heavy die-cast construction, and no-slip bottom pads to minimize coupling of surface vibration to the microphone. It is equipped with a touch-sensitive capacitive-type user switch with local and remote switching options. Locally, it can be set to any one of three operating modes: “touch-on/touch-off,” “touch-to-talk” and “touch-to-mute.” For enhanced control in conference and boardroom installations, the unit’s external contact closure allows you to trigger an external device, such as a camera or the lighting, from the switch. The desk stand is also equipped with a highly visible, single-state RGB LED status indicator and a UniSteep® filter that provides steep low-frequency attenuation to improve sound pickup without affecting vocal reproduction quality.
Local/remote switching operation enables independent microphone audio and control output.
