The Project
DM Music delivered a comprehensive upgrade to the audio visual facilities at Kingston Methodist Church, creating a flexible system that supports everything from traditional services and worship bands to community events and external hirers.
The new installation features an upgraded 24-channel sound system with high-performance Martin Audio loudspeakers and subwoofer, providing clear speech intelligibility alongside rich, full-range music reproduction throughout the church. A wireless lectern microphone, improved media playback facilities, induction loop upgrade and additional inputs allow both spoken word and live music to be managed through a single integrated system.
To make the system accessible for all users, DM Music implemented an ultra-simple operating mode, enabling volunteers and visiting groups to operate microphones and presentation audio with the press of a button, while retaining access to the full mixing desk for larger worship events and performances.
The AV system was also enhanced with HD video distribution, wireless presentation connectivity and support for multiple display locations, including the main display, worship band monitor and a dedicated foldback screen for service leaders. The new custom-built AV cabinet provides secure equipment storage while allowing future expansion as the church's needs continue to grow.
