The Vyper-KV52 is an ultra-flat passive speaker system comprised of eight 1″ neodymium magnet transducers housed in an elegant yet sturdy aluminum chassis. The eight closely-spaced cone drivers provide true line array characteristics: phase coherence, low distortion and focused listening in both the near field and at a distance from the speaker.
For easier use and integration with other speakers or amplifiers, the Vyper-KV52 allows the user to select two different values of impedance (16 ohm – 64 ohm). (At 64 ohm as many as 16 Vypers can be powered off a single amplifier channel at 4 which eliminates the need of 70 V amplifiers for wider distributed installed systems.
Pure Array Technology (PAT) Composed of closely-spaced, full-range sound sources, our line array elements feature Pure Array Technology. With no crossover and no reflex, a perfect phase response is achieved in both the near and far fields, making these columns the perfect solution to cover long distances uniformly. The narrow vertical coverage minimizes the sound spill towards the ceiling and the floor, thus increasing the intelligibility in highly reverberant environments.
K-array is always focused on the manufacture of slim, unobtrusive speakers without compromising in any way the sound quality or the strength and durability of its products.
A technologically advanced electronic circuit that protects your speaker from improper audio signals.
The use of materials such as aluminum and stainless steel provides considerable cost savings in terms of weight which is one of the biggest benefits of K-array’s loudspeakers.
The possibility to select a high impedance allows a high number of speakers to be driven with one single amplification channel.
