The Project
The All Nations’ Centre is a church which seeks to reach out into the community in practical and caring ways. Therefore, many people help carry out these tasks and ensure their smooth operations.
The church offers a huge range of different activities for both young and old. As part of its continued growth, the centre required an audio visual upgrade to support a wide variety of activities - from presentations and training to youth events and community workshops.
DM Music were approached to design and install an AV system that was easy to operate, adaptable to different room configurations, and robust enough for regular, high-energy use.
Challenges & Objectives
- High-Energy Worship: Needed sound pressure and clarity for full band, vocalists, and multimedia
- Visual Impact: Video walls and live camera feeds were essential for immersive worship and sermon engagement
- Online Presence: Reliable streaming and social media output were mission-critical for growth
- Volunteer-Based Operation: Systems had to be user-friendly and highly automatable
Outcome
- Worship Space: High-quality audio system for speech and music
- New, additional radio mics for choir & new plug-on radio mic
- New band personal monitoring
- Ability to reuse existing foldback from various points around the dais
- New induction loop system
- All AV control moved to the AV Tech Room with a new custom worktop for 3 operators
- Superb HD video system with 5m LED wall
- High-quality live-streaming system
- New 4k PTZ camera. Existing cameras converted to wireless
- Audio relay from Worship Space to kitchen, crèche and local WC’s
- Basic lighting cabling to truss and dais for future DMX stage-lighting options
- User-friendly conference AV system in
- A nursery that can be switched to overflow from the Worship Space
- User-friendly conference AV system in the Meeting Room that can be switched to show feed from the Worship Space
- Alarm Trigger: Trigger for Muting Worship, Nursery & First Floor PA systems in the event of a fire alarm
- Noticeboard: LED monitor in Entrance for notices etc via USB (can be switched to show Worship Space)
