Audio-Technica has been receiving a lot of praise in recent reviews for their user-friendly and affordable 700 series of radio microphones. Gone are the days when cheap wireless systems automatically meant poor construction, dodgy VHF reception and unreliability; the range delivers exceptional sound quality and is very easy to operate.
ATW-701/GATW-R700 receiver and ATW-T701 UniPak® transmitter with AT-GCW guitar/instrument input cable.
o 8 selectable frequency-coordinated channels
o Automatic frequency scanning
o UHF system means no minicab interference
o Diversity Receiver
o Good feedback resistance and clear response
o Simple battery replacement and channel selection
This system is ideal as a simple to use, reliable radio system setup. Simply plug the desktop receiver unitinto your sound system with a standard mic lead (or 1/4" jack lead) and you are ready to go!
DM Music Says
"These are a great entry level radio system. For the relatively low cost these are very reliable and easy to use. While these do not offer the features of the installation quality systems such as True Diversity reception, many multiple frequencies, large screens, wide audio frequency handling and metal chassis, they are a very hand addition to many systems or for those looking to break into the wireless domain. But these are certainly recommended over single 'fixed' frequency systems, so as long as you have a good transmitter-receiver line of sight these systems offer excellent value for money!"
System includes:1 x Bodypack transmitter
1 x 700 series desktop receiver unit
1 x AT-GCW cable - connect guitar to belt pack transmitter
1 x Power supply for receiver unit
1 x Plastic carry case
Belt pack transmitter requires 2 x AA 1.5v batteries - not included
(batteries should provide approx 6-10 hours operation)
NOTE: If using rechargeable batteries we recommend Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) type.
