Some are compact and lightweight, some are more involved and some are specific to a particular keyboard model. When buying a stand consider the following:

How heavy is my keyboard? - double braced stands are more sturdy than single braced!
When playing the keyboard do I need to be standing, seated or, at times, a bit of each?
If seated, do I need to get my knees underneath?
Do I need to transport it regularly?
Do I need to mount another keyboard or other gear on a second tier rack?
Do I need a matching stand for my keyboard? - there may be colour options available.
