PS10L-R2 speakers

Upgraded from the PS-10, the PS10-R2 loudspeaker can be safely driven with up to 1250 Watts of amplifier power, yet is only half the weight and volume of common trapezoidal systems. The proprietary constant directivity asymmetrical dispersion horn, easily rotatable by the user, makes it a versatile, flexible cabinet. Coupled with the horn's unique progressive horizontal and vertical dispersion, the most suitable pattern can be selected for vertical or horizontal PA usage or wedge monitoring. The cabinet comes fitted with a 35mm pole-mount socket and a range of mounting/flying accessories are available. See accessory links for more information.

The dispersion, architecture and weight balance of the PS10-R2 are designed to provide both exceptional PA and stage monitor performance from a single product without compromise. The 2-way passive 8 Ohm design uses a single amplifier channel to deliver bi-amped performance and save money, space and complexity. In conjunction with the NXAMP 4x1 and 4x4 the PS10-R2 benefits from an enlarged digital preset library that will further increase versatility of the loudspeaker for a wider range of indoor/outdoor applications.

LS-600 subwoofer

Replacing the LS-500, the new LS-600 sub-bass is a compact 15" long excursion Neodymium subwoofer with integral 35mm pole-mount socket and flying points. Capable of producing 138 dB (peak SPL) it extends the usable range of the PS10-R2 loudspeaker to 38Hz, providing exceptional performance and high power output from a compact, lightweight package.

The PS10TD-V3 controller's integral sub section and combined PS10/Sub Speakon wiring ensure cost-effective and simple system implementation. One LS-600 is typically used with two PS10-R2 loudspeakers, however additional units may be used dependant on application.

PS10TD-V3 analogue processor

The PS10TD-V3 is an advanced analogue processor that allows the PS10-R2 loudspeaker and optional LS-600 subwoofer to achieve superior performance from a compact 1U package.

The unit provides crossover, sensed amplifier control and system equalisation. Two inputs and three outputs (L, R and summed sub out) enable a single PS10TD-V3 to manage multiple PS10-R2 and LS-600s, minimising installation cost and complexity.

Like all NEXO processors, the PS10TD-V3 provides precision dynamic, voice coil temperature and diaphragm displacement protection through the use of selective Voltage Controlled Equalisers (VCEQs), strategically reducing frequency levels only when and where necessary.
